A building with 7 floors, collapsed in Banana Island
A shocking incident, that got people overwhelmed, a building which consist of seven floors, still under construction collapsed in Banana Island, Ikoyi axis of Lagos, an area recognized as the most luxurious place to live in the country, where you will find people with the most high ranking status and the wealthiest set of people in the country, an iconic place.
The incident which occurred at a precise time 3:00 pm, Wednesday afternoon, April 12 2023.
According to a report from “the PUNCH”, the horrible event, which led to the building caved in when some of the site construction workers are still on site after they have closed for the day, for one reason or the other.
However, some of the site construction workers, that are onsite sustained different level of injury, as a result of the collapse.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Fire Service and Rescue Service, Ammodu Shakiri, affirmed the incident.
He said, “we got a call around 3:58 pm. We are currently trying to ascertain the claim that no one was under the rubble.
